No-mayo Potato Salad and More Cookout Recipes 🍔🥗

Hi Reader,

If you're hosting a backyard party this month, or just want dinner on the grill, here's some ideas:

The mains:

Grilled Jerk Chicken - bold flavor, easy to make. Marinate it the night before and party day is just grilling.

Grilled Cuban Flank Steak - citrus marinade, cooks fast, and slices thin enough to serve on a platter or in sandwiches.

Grilled Filet Mignon Sandwiches - a splurge. Tender, beef filet, peppers, and onions all come off the grill together.

The sides (all make-ahead):

Macaroni Salad with Tuna - A classic macaroni salad with tuna added.

Mediterranean Herb Potato Salad - no mayo, so no worrying about it sitting out in the sun.

Quinoa Salad - Bright and lemony- perfect for summer. Leftovers are great for lunch.

Make the sides the day before, and the only thing you're doing day-of is standing at the grill.

Happy grilling, Reader

Here are a few ideas, starting with one of my favorites for this time of year: Sheet Pan Pork Tenderloin with Fall Vegetables. This is one of those dinners that makes dinnertime easy. The pork tenderloin cooks quickly, and everything goes onto one pan, so there’s less prep and cleanup. It’s also easy to swap out the vegetables and seasonings based on what you have on hand. Hello Reader, Here’s what caught my eye for dinner this week. I’ve got a chicken bowl I’ve been making a lot lately, crispy cutlets, roasted veggies, and a couple of dinners that make the week a little easier. Chicken Shawarma Bowls are on my table a lot these days. Warm spiced chicken over rice with all the fixings makes a great weeknight dinner. I like to make a double batch of the chicken because it keeps well and can turn into wraps, pasta, or a quick salad later in the week. CHICKEN...
